Signs (Trip to Germany)

To set the context, we were crusing down the autobaun at 140. A modest rate by German standards. Some think there are no speed limits on the autobaun. That's not completely true. There are sections which have limits, but there are those that have none!

This was a favourite speed-limit sign for me. I can't offer the official interpretaion, and to some degree that doesn't really matter. My own observation is how often do you see a sign that appears to be posting limits on the speed of tanks.

There may be some who enjoy a drink on special occations. Some more often. We came across this street, "Martinistrasse" or Martini street.

But wait, there's more. Not only is there a street there is the church of St. Martini.

Interesting priorities.
