I didn't have any specific objectives for a new keyboard, but when I got to the computer store, desirable options became obvious. They have small keyboards. With lots of buttons.

Going into a store without objectives is dangerous as one is then subject to the emotion that is stirred by the "gizmo." My old keyboard was 16.25 inches; the new one is 11.75 inches. Quite a difference; I have noticeably more space on my desk. I like it.
