A friend from Edmonton said there are two types of music: Country and Western.

We attended a Randy Travis concert Friday night at the casino in Orillia. I can't claim to be a fan, but someone asked if I wanted to go and having heard the name, yet not being able to relate that to any specific genre, let alone a song, I said yes. Thankfully the music was not too loud. It may be related to the age of the audience, which seemed to average in the 60-70 range.

Insult on injury

My car was crunched yesterday afternoon. Driving north on the 400 on my way to Bond Head. Traffic slowed to a stop but unfortunately not everyone behind realized what was happening and we got bumped from behind.

After walking over to Potato Harbour we made our back via Cavern Point to Scorpion Anchorage, where the ferry would arrive at 3:00 to take us back to Ventura. From the path we were able to see Anacapa Island.

Rather than take the trail to Smuggler's Cove, we decided to take the trail that cut through Scorpion Canyon. In the end this turned out to be the right decision as it gave us enough time to visit Potato Harbour.
